Below are the core offerings commonly found at Touch&Play.

Stay tuned to hear more about this year’s offerings as our curation process unfolds!

Core Offerings

  • The Oracle

The voice of the group. We open the space, to express and witness what’s present. A community practice of embodied truth telling and deep reflection.

  • Bound 2 Dance

A simple exploration of what happens to our dances and connections when we introduce a rope or two or three… We will focus on the connection aspect of bondage. (If you have your own ropes please bring them along).

  • Kink 101

An introduction to the philosophies and some “how to’s” of kinky play. Learn how this realm connects to the core explorations and values of Touch&Play.

  • Liquid Love

A collective experience exploring the sensuality of flowing skin to skin contact using warm organic oil. We invite you to move and allow yourself to be moved without intentions or sexual orientation. This is a place where you can love and be loved in an impersonal and unbound manner and above all a place to super charge your soul!

  • Exploratorium

An evening of roaming about an array of participant-led stations. The exploratorium is a dynamic, silly, festive, and highly creative event. Bring your wild ideas and let’s explore!

  • Community Grief Ritual

A ritual of emotional release and collective support. We drop in together, to move through whatever we may be grieving, in embodied presence and loving relationship. We don’t need to do this alone.

  • Sexy Performances & Demos

See and be seen! Witness and be witnessed. Celebrate each other’s boldness and beauty! Empower yourself to step into the spotlight, or feel the inspiration and learning from watching others shine.

  • Beginner's Orgy

An evening of sharing in erotic connection, where we’re invited to bring our sexual expression from the private sphere out into the open. There are infinite ways to participate! The possibilities are wide, and the bonding is deep.

  • Creative Contact Improv Jams

This is a place where you can explore new dynamics within your usual contact dances. Rather than two physical bodies meeting - what happens when two alchemical humans meet, bringing all our complexity into the dance? Let’s play with the edges of this movement form!

Intensives…

Going deep with the same facilitator and group each morning of the event!
Each participant will select one of the three following options.

Mythic Mirror with Murry/Marie

Peering through the mythic mirror, we explore the weavings of mythology in the personal, societal & cosmic fields within our bodies and hearts. A weaving of authentic movement and sound, storyspelling, dreaming, breathwork, reverence & play. Culminating in a sensual self-love ritual An elemental experience listening to the echos of eros within and beyond.

Murry/Marie (fae/they/she) dances through dimensions as a feral forest fairy, spirit of song, cosmic clown, dream druid & death doula.

The Garden of Delights with Pilar Echavarria

The body as a place of revelations,
as a gate into the underworld,
as our lost paradise.

Allow your body and your psyche to discover itself within unknown pathways of intimacy with yourself.  What you discover in you is part of our humanness, and how to bridge your inner landscapes with the world is your art. Magic, power, love and healing may unfold when your inner mysteries, are the raw material of your creation. And there... is where we can really meet and touch others.

What happen when we open ourselves to listen to the skins of the unknown?

Can we be the authentic raw humanimal that we are?
How does it feel being seen this way?

Can we embrace the monsters and beasts within us?
Can we make space to transform them into a deeper intimacy, our super powers or gifts?

Who/what is desiring through me?
Do I own my desires?

What is the creative act that can release some vitality that has been in exile?

An invitation to immerse ourselves together in our inner landscapes, in the mysteries of our underworld.  A bold process of surrendering to ourselves, to our truths, to our fellow mirrors. A journey to include your whole Self with the support and the expansion of nature and the waters; using tools, frames and scores from:  Contact Improvisation, Butoh, Dancing & Water*Resonance, Authentic Movement, Somatic Arts, Ecosexual explorations, Rituals in Wonderland, Breathing practices, Self Inquiry and Meditations, States of Dance...

Touch&Play Lab with Umair Asn

The Touch&Play lab is a co-creative space for T&P veterans to weave together an experimental intensive experience. The lab will offer a facilitated structure that can incorporate ideas and direction from the field and each participant. In the theme of facing the mirror, we are invited to introspection and self-awareness. What are the mirrors in your life and in our gathering? How do the mirrors serve you? And how do they not serve you? We aim to create an environment that can tolerate and support everyone sharing their unfiltered reality while staying in connection. We invite you to be as real with us as a group as you are with yourself in the privacy of your mind. What do you really feel about what’s happening right now? This is an opportunity to practice the art of revealing your wholeness in a group context. Being a lab, we expect a nonlinear process with potential for messiness. Yet, we are optimistic and invite an orientation towards showing up with love and respect with the hope that our efforts may yield grace and unexpected beauty!

Touch&Play events entail facilitated workshops, daily morning circles and evening activities, small-group processing & peer support, discussion groups, embodied rituals, participant-led offerings, and many emergent shenanigans.
